How the Birds topic works in KidSpin
Open Birds from the learning topics. Each card shows a colourful picture, the bird’s name and a one-line fact; the EN/اردو switch flips the same card between English and Urdu, and the phone’s text-to-speech voice reads it aloud. Buttons under each card open a matching game, a song and a story. Birds is free and also appears in Today’s Path as the “fun topic” on some days.
A five-minute bird-spotting game
- Pick three birds. Pigeons and sparrows are easy to find outside many homes.
- Look at the cards first. Say the English and Urdu names, and read the fact together.
- Go and look. At a window, balcony or park, count how many of each bird you can see.
- Draw one. Back inside, draw the bird your child liked most and label it in both languages.
For more English and Urdu words, try body parts names or counting 1 to 50 with Urdu ginti.
