Daily duas connected to familiar moments

When a child recognises the situation, a short phrase has a place in the day. KidSpin's dua cards cover these everyday contexts. Choose one familiar moment first, rather than asking your child to memorise the whole collection.

What a dua card includes

The dua collection contains Arabic text, a Latin transliteration, an Urdu meaning and a short explanation. Content is filtered by age, so your child may not see every card at once. A parent can show all modules in Settings and choose which content is visible.

For example, the Before Eating card uses the short Bismillah phrase and explains starting the meal with Allah's name. Its source note refers to Sunan Abi Dawud 3767. Parents can read the source and ask a trusted teacher about pronunciation or the practice used in their family.

Practise one dua together

  1. Pick a routine. Start with a moment that already happens, such as a meal or bedtime.
  2. Read the meaning first. Explain the idea in the language your child understands, using the card as a prompt.
  3. Say a short part together. Model it yourself or with a trusted teacher. Let your child listen, join in or ask a question.
  4. Use it in that moment. Close the app and return to the meal, journey or bedtime routine. Revisit the card when useful.

This is a parent-led practice idea, not a memorisation deadline. A child completing a card or collecting a sticker does not establish accurate pronunciation or understanding.

How the audio works

KidSpin uses the phone's synthetic text-to-speech voices for supported language text. It is not a library of recorded reciters or a tajweed teacher. Voice support, Arabic pronunciation and offline availability vary by phone. Listen yourself first and use a trusted teacher or reciter to check religious pronunciation. The app introduces words and meanings; it does not certify recitation.

Lessons are bundled. Offline speech needs an installed offline voice for the relevant language. Buying or restoring the optional Bonus Pack and parent license checks require internet. See privacy details and parent help.

Duas, namaz and everyday learning

KidSpin combines these introductory Islamic topics with Urdu qaida, English letters, counting and picture stories. Parents can hide faith topics when they do not suit the family. Urdu alphabet practice is separate from learning to read Quranic Arabic; KidSpin does not provide a Noorani Qaida or complete Quran-reading course.

Questions parents ask

Are daily duas free in KidSpin?

Yes. The duas and six kalimas topic is included in the free app, with no ads or login. A paid Bonus Pack is optional for other topics.

Can my child use this instead of a Quran or Arabic teacher?

No. KidSpin introduces dua text, meanings and everyday contexts. Its synthetic phone voices are not a substitute for checking pronunciation with a trusted teacher or reciter.

Does KidSpin include bedtime duas?

Yes. The dua collection includes a sleeping dua and a waking-up dua. Parents can use these cards alongside their own family routine.

Are all duas visible to every age?

Some cards are filtered by the child’s age. A parent can adjust the content shown in Settings and practise the suitable cards together.
