KidSpin is designed for ages 3–7. Choose your child’s age to filter available topics, and adjust the selection in Settings. Age is a starting point; sit together and choose activities that suit your child.

Yes. KidSpin includes a 39-letter Urdu alphabet primer with picture words and tracing, alongside English ABC. It is an Urdu qaida, not an Arabic or Quran Noorani Qaida course. Spoken playback uses the phone’s synthetic text-to-speech voices, not recorded native speakers.

Yes. In Settings, open Choose what your child sees and untick Islam, Namaz and Duas. Today’s Path skips hidden modules. Settings opens through a simple addition question intended as a handoff to a grown-up.

KidSpin needs no login. Learning progress stays on your phone. Echo recordings stay on the phone and are deleted after playback. Purchases, restores and license validation use the internet; unlock-code validation sends the code and a device identifier, including periodic checks. Only for Echo, the optional talk-back character. Echo records a short clip on the phone, plays it back at a changed pitch, and deletes it after playback. The recording is not uploaded or transcribed. You can refuse microphone access and use the other activities.

Lessons, picture books and games are bundled in the app. Spoken playback needs a compatible English or Urdu text-to-speech voice installed on the phone; test it in airplane mode before relying on offline audio. Purchases, restores and periodic license checks need a connection.

The free app has no ads and includes 14 learning categories, 16 English/Urdu picture books, seven games and Echo. The optional Bonus Pack adds 10 categories. On Android it is $2.99 once on Google Play, bought inside the app (Rs 299 in Pakistan; local price shown by Google Play). No. Since version 1.0.3, KidSpin has no advertising SDK and shows no ads. The Bonus Pack is an optional paid content upgrade.

Today’s Path uses completion progress to choose three activities. An unfinished activity can return. Stickers and check marks record activity completion; they do not test or certify that your child has learned a letter. Ask your child to recognise it in a book or try it on paper.

Purchase screens open through a simple addition question intended for a grown-up. A child may solve or guess it: this is not age verification or purchase security. Keep your app-store purchase authentication enabled and supervise purchases.

Choose a stopping point with your child before you begin, such as one letter and one game. Stop sooner if they lose interest. An app session should fit around sleep, play, conversation and your family’s screen-use plan; KidSpin does not prescribe a healthy daily dose.

Yes, from KidSpin 1.0.5 (available on Google Play since 14 October 2026). A parent can add up to four children in Settings. Each child keeps their own stickers, streak, lessons and favourite topics. A first name is optional; the name, age and picture are stored only on the phone, with no account. With two or more children, the home asks who is playing.

Yes, from KidSpin 1.0.5. Choose Off, 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes a day. Only time on learning screens counts, it resets at midnight, and each child gets the full allowance. When time is up your child sees “See you tomorrow!”. After the grown-up question you can add 15 minutes or remove the limit for the rest of the day.

Yes. Every story can be read aloud with the phone’s text-to-speech voice. KidSpin 1.0.5 adds Listen mode: it reads a whole story hands-free and turns the pages itself, and the duas can play one after another. The screen stays on only while it plays. Listening earns no stickers, so it stays a calm wind-down.
